This study focuses on the famous stock exchanges of India: ‘National Stock Exchange (NSE)’ and ‘Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE)’ during the Russia-Ukraine war. In this study, a conceptual framework is presented to examine the behavior of NSE and BSE and find the impact of the Russia-Ukraine war on Indian stock exchanges from the time period of 21 February 2022 to 15 July 2022. All the major points related to the fall and rise of these stock exchanges due to the Russia-Ukraine war and its related issues are discussed during this time period. And the results revealed that there is a significant and negative impact of the Russia-Ukraine war on the Indian stock exchanges: NSE and BSE. This study will help scholars and researchers in future studies.
