A foundation of a sustainable world is created with gender egalitarianism and women empowerment. Women are essential to strengthening women’s rights to adequate participation in politics, education, and work. Empowering women helps prevent exploitation and discrimination. This study seeks to assess women’s empowerment in India and underlines the issues and challenges in education, politics, and the workplace. This study reviewed relevant books, journals, and reports (official and non-official) on women’s empowerment and gender equality to reach a consensus on the objectives’ relevance. Data from prior studies have offered a clear understanding of a factor that may impede women’s participation in economic growth and development. As a result, this study will be able to better appreciate and emphasise women’s importance in the economy and debate possible solutions to some of the problems that may impede their economic empowerment.
